Tauren Rogues: A Mistake In the Making

Just gonna point out the fact that if they can stealth as survival hunters, then they can stealth as rogues.

From a Gnome’s point of view humans and orcs are too big to be rogues.
They are still figuring out how they manage to be stealthy for their size.

Funny. I’m an alchemist because of my herbing racial.

Hey if they can shoehorn “Dranei Deathknights” into the lore… anything is possible including Minotaurs with stealth booties on their hooves.

I do think it’s a rather weird decision…

There are individuals in each race that do not conform to racial norms. There is plenty of room for a quiet Tauren who likes to backstab others or attack from the shadows. I don’t really see any problem.

Literally died here

Just assume all the tauren rouges you meet are Outlaw rogues. Problem solved.

It’s always been my personal policy to hold in low regard the logic of those that argue for realism in a fictional fantasy world full of magic.

Period.

Actually it kind of does. Grimtotem exist, and a portion of their number have joined the Tauren as a whole, having done so after Magatha used poison on Garrosh’s blade to ensure that Cairne would die in the Mak’gora between the two. The Grimtotem consist of outlaw/thug type characters who fit the Rogue class quite well.

This entire argument falls flat, because blacksmiths would design weapons specifically for the hand of their wielders. So a Tauren who used daggers would have those daggers specifically designed for his hands, meaning he’d have no issue holding them.

??

Tauren don’t wear cowbells. The only noise they’d potentially make is the sound of their hooves, but that only applies if they were shod, meaning, wearing metal shoes on their hooves. Which most Tauren don’t do anyway.

How is this a valid argument at all?

Tauren are not cows…

This is not a valid argument.

TLDR: All of your points are nonsense. GTFO.

Tauren are known for being successful hunters (no, I mean hunting for food), and this involves making sure your prey doesn’t know you’re there. If a tauren can hide from animals with powerful senses, they can hide from some dumb human.

Also, trolls have two fingers and we manage just fine, you monochromatic furbolg.

But they still have those cloven hoofs that can clip clop just as loud as a Tauren. Though females are daintier then both males and Tauren so they probably don’t clip clop so they do get a pass.

Ah yes. If my minotaur can transform magically into a flaming cat first, and THEN go invisible - it makes sense.

If Tauren rogues go Meta, it’s going to be the biggest chad move on the dev team to date!

Listen, I covered this in the OP.

You can stealth with Hooves. Tauren shouldn’t be rogues for far deeper reasons.

Well if we can have Tauren rogues we can have Gnome Pally then…

Any race can turn to the criminal life. For poisons, Tauren have knowledge of herbalism meaning they know which plants are poisonous.

As for Tauren mages, I don’t know, Tauren don’t seem very bright or interested in the arts of magic. I wouldn’t have the patience of teaching one.
