I know the developers can’t make everyone happy, but I have to say the Tauren Heritage armor doesn’t seem right to me. I’m confused, are the Mulgore Tauren now the Skyhorn Tauren of High Mountain or something?

I must be mistaken then because I thought the Mulgore Tauren’s culture revolved around the great plains, kodo, and the Earth Mother. Is it strange that the Druid T6 set is still a better representation of the hopes of the set because it actually looks like a totem overall?

I mean, that’s a cool back-totem and all, but it’s a FAR cry from the totems Tauren players have wanted that the Mulgore Tauren’s use as weapons.

Also, this is the first time I’ve seen white feather get used for the Mulgore Tauren. It seems way out of place.

Maybe I’m wrong, and everyone will disagree with me, and that’s cool, but I’d rather they delayed the release of this until it is fitting of the Mulgore Tauren.

I think it’s fairly fitting the Tauren, I’m planning on levelling a Tauren to get my hands on it.

It’s a distinct Native American-like style that the Tauren always had, and it fits.

It’s similar looking to the HM Tauren due to them being similar in culture.

Well, I’ll have to disagree Champ. My Tauren(s) are absolutely on edge waiting for these beautiful heritage pieces, they make me remember the old RTS games. I’ve made sure my Tauren(s) are completely up to date in order to acquire that set as soon as possible!

What’s the requirements? Exalted with Tauren and do a quest chain when 8.2 drops?

I don’t have exalted since this character was a boost for buying the game back in 2018 before BFA release

I have to admit, I didnt look into the details like you have. You make some fair points. I would love the weapon transmog as well.

However, I do like the look overall.

Exalted we know for sure, and it looks like you’ll need to complete the War Campaign and help break out Baine too. Than there is the actual quest chain for the set; it seems like a lot of hoops to jump through compared to the Blood Elf and Dwarf sets, but… eh.

I want that set, I’ll jump through as many hoops as it takes!

Ok so from the looks of what you said it looks like I only need to get exalted since I’m fully done with war campaign and reps in bfa and all that good stuff.

After I get exalted it seems like I just wait for the quest line to drop

Grab a TB Tabard and run a bunch of low level dungeons, maybe pair it with a dungeon that give another rep you might want.

Grab the tabard and spam the Alcatraz/botanar/mechatraz or what ever those bc dungeons are.

After maybe an hour or two of farming you’ll be there. Easy peasy.

That’s cool, I understand. I guess I have looked at the new model for Baine and have thought since then that we’d be heading in this direction. Overall his model seemed the most fitting to me in terms of design and coloring. :man_shrugging:

Yeah, the white and the bird head shoulders seemed really odd to me, but especially the pure white. It’s a nice looking set, but to me, it seems like it’s for an entirely different tauren tribe. It doesn’t really say Bloodhoof to me. But, your mileage my vary.

Both Night Elves and Tauren should get their iconic weapons. Tauren should have their totem and Night Elves should have their glaives (not DH restricted).

The Tauren Heritage Armor, idk man, I think they nailed it. Both it and the Gnome sets scream racial heritage to me.

All heritage armor should come with weapons, but I guess that’s too much effort.

Sure, its a Native American style, but now that Blizzard has introduced several tribes of Tauren to the game, all with distinguishing features and look, do you believe this design fits Mulgore Tauren the best? Especially since it doesn’t seem to follow their theme (color and cultural features) at all?

It is truly disappointing that this wasn’t the case.

We even have the weapons datamined for Nightborne/Void Elves/Dark Iron. Why must the tease us?

Also, why can’t we have all the Heritage Armor recolors that have also been datamined :sob:

I would assume that all PC Tauren are from Mulgore. Similar to how all Humans are Stormwind Humans.
