What are tauren druids supposed to do now that Malfurion hates us?
Trolls will be okay--they've got their loa. But they've never given tauren any other traditions to fall back on.
Do the devs even remember that tauren druids exist?
Side with Saurfang and hope that Malfurion lets bygones be bygones I guess.
Not that I wouldn't love a set of Horde ancients to use in place of those aligned with the Cenarian Circle.

He will probably pull a Jaina and purge the Cenarion circle.
The same way Malfurion said “Then I am glad most of your kind is not as lost as you” to Lorash, I don't think Malfurion will hold any Horde Druids that didn't participate in the War of the Thorns or the Darkshore Warfront for what the Horde did there.
If they game acknowledges whether or not one participated in those things could affect that either way. But could just be brushed off and you'll be working with him again on friendly terms even if you played through either of those two questlines.

I mean, now that Night Elves are #savage again, I wouldn't want to be a giant cow living next to the world's largest supply of charcoal...
A Purge of Moonglade scenario has been top of my wishlist since the Burning of Teldrassil was announced.

Do you guys not have a high druid named Hamuul Runetotem?11/03/2018 07:52 AMPosted by KinthaWhat are tauren druids supposed to do now that Malfurion hates us?

You don't need the Night Elves to hold your massive three-pronged hands.

After this is all over, maybe. If he runs into me right now, though, I assume I'm kill-on-sight given that cinematic.

It'd be nice, but I don't see Blizz developing mulgore tauren in that respect anytime soon, if at all. But hey, at least spirit-walkers seem to be more of a thing again since we're talking to one or more for heritage armor.

Well, true, especially given he's a Darkshore Warfront general for one of the Warfront gameplay rotations itself. But... uh... if you do participate in that... maybe he won't remember you specifically apart from the nineteen other players plus NPC troops attacking him...?

Chances are low. He still remembers every face of the elves he banished thousands of years ago.
Malfurion never forgets.
Continue being druids without Malfurion I guess?
Yeah, I've always been under the impression, especially at this point, the tauren no longer need the Night Elves for druidism. They've rediscovered their path, the Highmountain have known druidism without needing to relearn it from Malf, the trolls I have no issue adding a little of their own influences to it, and the tauren pantheon has been more fleshed out with actual druid talents/abilities referencing An'she/Mu'sha.
Tauren druids will be fine. Severe us from the night elves' hip already

Defend yourself? Team up with Hamuul? Stay neutral with the Circle?

I agree in spirit, but Hamuul is a Malfurion fan boy as well. Wild Gods obviously dgaf but Hamuul probably sides with his bae tbh.
Right now? Get ready for Mulgore to be invaded, because that is an upcoming Warfront.
Afterwards, hopefully form a Horde only version of the Cenarion Circle (maybe call it the Order of An'she to differentiate it) and move on with your lives.

Unfortunately for the Horde, the Ancients are Night Elf spirits. They're pretty much filled with wisps, least for the Treemen.11/03/2018 07:56 AMPosted by RoghterNot that I wouldn't love a set of Horde ancients to use in place of those aligned with the Cenarian Circle.
As for the other Ancients, or rather, Wild Gods of the Cenarion Circle, they're whole heartily neutral... Up till you declare war on nature itself. Which, from the Night Warrior scenario, we learn that the Horde is in fact now labeled an enemy of nature. As Elune accepts a orcish head/skull to begin the Night Warrior ritual.

Eh we still got our Loa
Mhm. The Horde has an advantage in the fact their wild gods are actually helping them.11/03/2018 12:59 PMPosted by ReallyhappyEh we still got our Loa
Hamuul and the Horde druids are canonically in Silithus where Sylvanas shoved them so they wouldn't get in the way, so I imagine he (unfortunately) holds little animosity towards them. The Circle will probably survive this mess, as much as I want Broll to beat Zen'kiki to death when he finally gets the news.

I don't think it will happen. The horde didn't go through Moonglade to scale down the mountain to get to Darkshore.
It wasn't like Dalaran where a blood elf loyal to Garrosh used Dalaran as a base to steal the Divine Bell.
