Does anyone know the origin / meaning of the Tauren Druid Cat Symbol ?
It looks like a sun / moon combination, but is this a symbol for a faction in WoW?
It’s not only on tauren’s cat form, it’s on almost 100% of all the druid forms in the game. 
The “sun/moon combination” is a druidic symbol present in many druid-themed transmogs and represents the balance of the cycle. So it’s not technically a symbol for a faction, but mostly for a class. I hope this answers your questions!
