if rogues can be taurens, DHs should be able as well. I might play my DH more if he could be tauren.
or atleast give DH’s a new race on horde that isn’t blood elf…

Illidan ONLY taught elves, so that’s why ONLY elves are DH’s. Also, Illidan is away, so no more DH’s are being trained, currently.
This means : No DH for YOU !
It’s amazing how everybody wants unique things changed in this game, and if it does, then things will become so homogenized that many of the same players will be upon these forums complaining yet again about it.

I don’t really hate blood elves… but I am tired of seeing blood elves (and Vulpera) everywhere in the game. So if dh tauren leads to less belves and Vulpera, by all means, be my guest.

Not that I personally want to try demon hunters, but the reason I don’t have a Paladin yet is because I refuse to play a Blood Elf or a Tauren. My lazy butt doesn’t have the Trolls unlocked yet so that’s not an option either.
At the end of the day, I really just want an Undead Paladin.
Again, only elves were taught to be DH’s by Illidan, and he’s on a sabbatical. Now, you could ask for Tauren Warlocks, since their are some in Highmountain.

Im all for more races becoming Demon Hunters. When more are being trained in
the story. It would be a stupid move just to suddenly have more races of DH
show up when there are no more DH being trained.

This is why I always say—when people bring up “plz new race/class combos”—everyone has wildly different tastes, and if everyone could do what they wanted, the game would look very different and be less appealing on the whole.
Personally, I think undead paladins would be cool. But just because I personally like that doesn’t mean bliz should change the game to accommodate me.
Lines gotta be drawn in the sand. Keep wow looking like wow.

The lore has been butchered quite a lot in the last couple of years. So who cares anymore?
If the op wants to play a tauren dh, why not? I won’t have less fun because someone wants to play a certain class and a certain race together.

I don’t hate belves and Vulpera, I just wish there would be more variety in the playerbase. It’s only natural though that most people choose mainstream races. So yeah, it is what it is. Don’t take my first post too serious =)
This may lead me to play a DH for the first time.

Only Illidan trained DH’s, however, in the Legion quests, initiates were being trained.

I explained why, and I’ll state it again; homogenization. Why have more that one class? You could play the classless WoW that’s called Ascension, and it’s basically vanilla & Burning crusade whereby any ability is picked, because there are no classes. It’s all about the hero.
Of course, you’ll advocate for every race be every class, and if it does happen, you’ll be on the forums complaining about how there’s no difference anymore.

This game has way too many restrictions and it would be a nice change to finally give players more freedom.
If you care so much for lore, wow is definitely not the right game. The lore in this game is a joke. Especially since bfa. wod was laughable, too, though.
There aren’t that many restriction, and it’s not just about you.
Exactly how is the lore a joke ? Blizzard owns the IP, and subsequently makes the lore what they want to make it, but you don’t get to make it what you want.
