No. Not unless you’re a Paladin playing Classic where you cast taunt on friendly targets rather than enemies.
Get good nameplates that show whether or not you have threat on them instead eg Plater.

Intervene is pretty smilar to this concept though. i guess they just ddin’t want ot do it or ddnt thnk about it. it’s really hard to cycle through huge mobs cherry pick, find and taunt the attacker. but idk. maybe it would make things to easy.
Its extremely easy with good nameplates, you can even use mouseover macros for it.
