That would be fantastic. Though I think playable Taunka would be more likely for The Last Titan.
With that said, I’m not against Midnight bringing a new wave of allied races with the Taunka amongst them.

The Blizzard Gamescom schedule. The reveal on Tuesday, with the story live panels that Thursday.
Now with how we’re getting the trailer on Tuesday, I figure that would be followed by the feature trailer which could easily show any new playable race, like Taunka.

So we are two days away from the Gamescom opening night and the Midnight cinematic and game play trailer debuts.
Now I have to admit that when it to any playable race reveals, I am expecting Horde Forest Trolls. With that said, I could see Taunka announced in the feature trailer, if they are apart of a new wave of allied races.

The best opportuny for Taunka to be playable in the Horde is TLT. I really hope we won’t miss this perfect opportunity to get them as playable race. After all, they are a part of the Horde since WotLK.

The return to Northrend with The Last Titan is a great opportunity to make the Taunka playable. Though I wouldn’t be opposed to getting them earlier, like say in a new wave of playable races for Midnight.

The Midnight announcement has revealed that the Haranir is the new playable race coming to WoW.
I wasn’t expected a Taunka reveal, but it would have been cool.

As we go into Midnight, Blizzard confirmed that Dragonflight will remain the set path leveling path, with The War Within as remaining the 70-80 experience, and then Midnight after.
Should we get a Taunka reveal, my leveling plans shall be Wrath of the Lich King - The War Within - Midnight.

I hope female Taunka will get their own head like the male Taunka have for TLT based on the Tauren model.

With how the Forest Troll model got updated for Midnight, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Taunka got a more updated look for The Last Titan.

The Spanish World of Warcraft community AlterTime was lucky enough to have two more recorded interviews at Gamescom. In one of them, the following was disclosed:
When the light answered Liadrin’s prayer, a call went out to many, many people. We saw the Army of Light respond, but it has also been heard by players and many others, including some creatures you might not expect. There’s at least one in particular which is pretty baffled to be there, and doesn’t know quite what happened… but is still there.
It does make me wonder if any Taunka could of heard that call. If they did, I wonder if they would come with an updated model, like a preview to come in The Last Titan.

You know, I think the Tauren with handlebar horns in the vanguard formations might have been meant to be taunka. For whatever reason they stood out to me as different than the expected Kalimdorian tauren.
Also for whatever reason the hozen ceased to appear after the .1 patch. A shame, I really got my hopes up that we’d be getting some monkey business to lighten up that overall dark, dismal story.

I keep wondering why they did gnoll if they weren’t going to do Quillboar for Alliance.

They want to play a Gnoll and have no desire to play as a Quillboar.

Bah, leaving the poor Alliance at only 5 races and the Horde at 7 though! So unbalanced.
Hmm… who would I even add to that though… Quillboar to balance Gnolls… annnd oh obviously Frostborn dwarves to balance with Taunka.

paladins make sense since they participated in liberating icecrown from the will of the lich king. Taunka’s are my favorite tauren, I really hope they resemble the look of beast from disney. That would be amazing.
