Tashup's keystone exchange

" Ta’hsup now spawns at the end of Mythic+ dungeons that are completed before the time limit is reached. He will offer a one-time Keystone exchange to any player whose current Keystone is at or below the level of the dungeon that was recently completed on time. Keystones that are a higher level than the dungeon that was recently completed on time cannot be traded, including the Keystone that was used to start the run."

Do we have more info on this? Does this mean that we’ll be able to pick and choose what dungeon we get a key for after failing the timer? Or do we just get to choose the difficulty of the next key?

“Completed on time”

It’s to help people get their specific keys for the mythic plus achievements

Say all you need for your achievement is a halls 15.

Yet during your vault you got Mists 15 for the 500th time. It means if you time a key you can trade your Mists 15 for a Halls 15 once a week.

“will offer a one-time Keystone exchange”

We need to know what “one-time” means too…“one time” then it’s gone, per week, per day?

My guess would be per week.

Weekly is fair…though daily would be much appreciated.

does anyone know if he gives you a keystone for a different dungeon or if he increases the level of your current key to X+1

I hope the “1 time” means 1 time per dungeon.

So if it changes to something bad you can do another key and change it again.

And I hope to all that is holy it can’t reroll the same exact dungeon it already is. But this is Blizzard we are talking about so…

yep. if this is how it works, it’s basically the key reroll ability we’ve been asking for for years.

Oh yeah! That would be fabulous!!

I understood it as

“If you time a key, your party members can reroll their keys to a different dungeon of ≤ difficulty, as long as their key isn’t of a higher level than the one you just completed.”
