Very simple, no big drama around it, the original game had a forge in Tarren Mill next to the Weaponsmith, it was pointed out in 2019 and never fixed. It’s absolute butts to have to fly back to undercity and navigate that terrible layout just to use a forge.

That seems pretty stupid lol.
Probably takes 5 minutes to add that back to the game, with 3 of those minutes being that moment after you take your first drink of coffee/energy drink and you have your eyes closed, mentally preparing for the next 8 hours of your life being drained away by a trillion dollar company.

Alliance has the same problem with Darn and it is a capital 
There never was an anvil there as far as I remember. No BS trainer either. There is both in Auberdine, a short - and free - flight from there.
This is intentional, there are no mining node spawns on Teldrassil, and no mining trainer on Teldrassil. It was a ~Thematic Lore Reason. Which, can be annoying gameplay, but its accurate to original. TM forge being removed is not.

not quite, I can remember Blizz saying sorry it was an oversight when they added one later on.
I vaguely remember a ‘fun fact’ about it being cause you’re on a tree, but not so confidently to say you’re wrong. Do you remember when they added one?
The blacksmith at Hillsbrad Fields is fully functional. Just saying.

I don’t play alliance often but when I do, I am constantly reminded how garbage of a city Darn is…
You just wonder around like there is nooooo way they did not put an anvil here. It has to be somewhere

I think Darn’s biggest crime was the mailbox to AH placement

is TM missing a forge? or missing a repair NPC or both?

They added one for SOD too, but that’s a joke server so it doesn’t count.
Makes that forge in Darnassus really awkward then.
Sylvannas is innocent, the forge burned the tree down.
