so some time last week i was going through the blizzard settings and came across one that said something like “targeting sounds” that would play a small thud noise every time you targeted something new or a noise when you cancel your target. my friends and i have spent HOURS trying to find this setting again with 0 luck. does anyone know how i can find this? i don’t even want to play until i find this setting and turn it off its seriously driving me crazy. any help would be much appreciated.
AFAIK that is not a base UI setting. You can enable/disable it only by toggling the first checkbox in the Sounds menu, but every spell and ability will be silenced with it.
However, if you’re using ElvUI or TukUI, that was a feature that some requested since I think it was disabled by default with them both. I recommend looking through the settings if you’re using one of those, or any other add-on that may offer this functionality.
