Target cap is next

Don’t let target cap stay. Just get rid of it.

We don’t care if it’ll break some classes, m+ has been and is still only every limited to certain meta specs.

You can do the tuning in a 9.1.6 or even 9.2 we don’t care about balance stuff will be unbalanced anyways.

Just remove the aoe cap it sucks it should have never been introduced it won’t work with legion m+ time walking.

It sucks it’s not fun.

That would take way more balancing than is going to get done mid-expansion. Don’t hold your breath.

They’ll remove it by the time the next pre-expansion launches, had a source tell me not long ago.

If they remove it then they need to drastically nerf aoe dmg.

Should happen, probably will, but it ain’t happening in SL, let alone in an X.X.5 patch.

What do you mean? Don’t you love when you have 2.4k io and still don’t get invited to stuff because you’re not a mage, a druid, a shaman or a monk ?

The AoE cap is like throwing cement into your gas tank. You are not going anywhere with these changes.

If the AoE cap lead to more additional changes and balances to the game it would make sense but that never happened!

Because stuff like balance druid with 100k+ dps potential on big pulls from a nice safe distance avoiding all melee mechanics is balanced.

Everyone gets to have fun with Plaguefall 50 little oozes before boss 1…except for me. Hooray for 5 aoe cap on rogues!

Like they did with mages and boomies? I’ve seen 35k bursts on larger pulls by mages and boomies. So much for balancing.

But let’s suspend disbelief: You know that would be even higher if we removed the AoE cap, right? Starfall is capped at 20.

This happens more often than you’d think. My wife regularly breaks 100k on big pulls as an affliction warlock. I’ve seen the same out of fire mages (puke. Delete combust) and venthyr balance druids

I agree here. Especially in M+ this has gotten ridiculous. The worst example I can think of is Marksmen NightFae hunters using the new Fae legendary.

For those that don’t know, hunters cannot cleave 2 targets as marksmen. It’s literally impossible as trick shots does not activate unless multi shot hits 3 or more targets. You can bypass this for 6 seconds with volley but using volley in two targets is a dps downgrade. So effectively they have a minimum cleave of 3 targets. Multi shot is capped at FIVE targets. So they have the minuscule range of 3-5 targets. The NightFae legendary doubles their wild spirit procs but only if it’s hitting FOUR or fewer targets. This leaves Marksmen NightFae hunters with an effective cleave range of 3-4 targets. Pulling around that is idiotic and impossible in most cases.

Unholy DK is also uncapped, I take it you are frost?
