BLIZZARD!!! Please, please, please make tarecgosa’s visage usable on all characters! I have the staff and did the blue dragonflight questline to be able to use the mount without the staff on a character I don’t even play anymore. I only leveled that character to 70 to get the mount. Please make it so that all characters can use it if you have it unlocked on one character! Gladiator mounts are account wide so why can’t this be? No one wants to go through the legendary questline on multiple characters just to be able to use this mount.

Ehhh, as someone with the staff I kinda like it the way it is. The mount is tied to the staff, which is tied to an entire storyline the owning character experienced, culminating in a light show honoring the character in SW/Org at the end. To me that’s different than account wide mounts you just get from boss drops or PvP.
I mean, I wouldn’t be upset if my alts could use it too, but I do get why it is the way it is and I’m good with it staying that way.
What would be nice, though, is an updated model and the mount being recognized in macros.

It’s an effect from a legendary. We got a QoL update on the legendary effect. No, it’s not a regular mount.

yes after the main blue dragon quest we got
the players with the staff gets a special quest to get it to the mount tab
but only for the staff user though
Ooooh where do I start that quest? I got the staff years ago and I didn’t know they changed it
to get this you need to do the blue flight quest we got a few months ago

But you don’t need the staff to use the mount anymore so it’s a pointless restriction. And if you want to show off the experience you have for getting the staff than you have your achievement for it… AND you can also mog the staff on ANY character that can use a staff. You can even mog a staff as a warrior.

It was still part of a story that that particular character experienced. Even the uncoupling of the mount from the staff was done via a story quest. Call it pointless if you want, but I don’t mind that not everything breaks the fourth wall.
The add on questline was a courtesy by the way to allow staff holders to use the mount form more conveniently. It wasn’t intended to be an account wide unlock. Again, if they decide to unlock it, cool. I’ll use it on my alts. But if they don’t it’s fine the way it is, and I’m not holding my breath for it.
Go get it on your main if you want it that badly. Firelands is a simple enough clear at this point. It’ll take a few weeks to collect all the fragments, sure, but we’re talking what, like 15 minutes a week to clear FL? And there are other mounts and mogs in there to get too.

Thankful I can delete the really long macro now. It was getting dicey having to squeeze the DR mount in there!
