Taptaf’s quest is not triggering after slaying Idej the Wise in Dustvar (and I’ve done it 3 times already). This quest is not triggering and seems to have not been since the first bug report in November 2020- four months ago. Please fix Taptaf is a cute pet
He is a very cute pet! Did you make sure you were doing it on a level 50 character? It looks like the quest requirement is listed as level 50 on wowhead.

Level 60 here. I killed the gnome, Taptaf walked over to me, but he did not offer the quest. I did look it up on Wowhead and they suggested quickly logging out after Taptaf has walked over and logging back in. I tried this and it worked - the pig had the quest and I was able to collect him! Blizzard should still fix this so he offers the quest upon killing the gnome, though.
i’m attempting to get this pet but once I kill the gnome nothing happens!! Doing on my lvl 50 shadow priest!! Please advise
