The same reason in Hearthstone why on turn 1 and 2 some players take the entire rope to make the only move they could possibly make because there are no other moves to make.

You should encourage them to pull more, they may be new to tanking. We need more tanks, there is no reason to patronize them like this

Maybe they’re being mindful and checking their healers’ mana before they pull.
When I tank and people whine about me not pulling enough mobs or pulling fast enough, I pull lots and lots of mobs to the point people are begging me to stop because the healer is out of mana and people die.
Let them pull at their own pace. Don’t like it? Show yourself the door.

Tanks jobs are to control the eb and flow of the dungeon pace.
If your unhappy with the tanks & their tanking, I suggest you Roll your own tank and tank yourself.
I had 4 characters that use to tank, constant complaints or worse DPS with delusions of grandeur who forgot they weren’t the tank; is the reason I parked all of my tanks and stopped tanking.
So instead of four tanks which were all fairly competent in running dungeons for people sit idle and your time in que is 14 - 20 minutes.
TLDR: Unhappy with the tanks your getting Roll a tank and do it yourself!

I just use the vote kick option. It works wonders and we instantly get a new tank as well. No need to show myself the door.

Really? My first heroic I had almost 100 corruption and we wiped two times, and we still finished. This is pretty petty.

5 seconds of active pause, not just running to the next pack, before every pull. That crap adds up. Especially if you’re unlucky enough to get that kind of Tank in an M+ run (and yes, it happens).

You know what really adds up? Playing WoW when you could literally do anything else with your time. 5 seconds is a pretty petty amount to complain about when you’re already wasting your time on a bad online game that you only play because of sunk cost fallacy.

Rofl, a CSR I had a discussion with about an unnecessary vote kick would disagree with you. In his words to me before he was going to talk with the player I reported. “If the player was unhappy, he should have removed himself from the group.”
He also agreed too many players just hit the accept button because they don’t want to deal with the BS from the person who initiated the kick. Not that they agreed with them.
