If you’re using a shield, you presumably care about damage mitigation.
Lol I’m really glad I started this thread, cuz it’s good to see us come together on something for a change. The funniest part is tanking in vanilla can be done in various ways depending on the instance, but spamming thunderclap is not one of them hahaha!
It’s not actually, Revenge and Shield Slam does more threat, revenge is especially good at threat per rage cost.

I think the person meant without prot spec, but revenge is really good. You gotta wait for it to pop though. Sunder is really the way to go, unless you want to be one of those sweaty folks and stress heals out lol. 2h tanking isn’t worth it imo though.
