What do you expect tanks to do? Pull one group at a time and just wait?
You have this strange misconception you are required for the dungoen. Let me clarify for you. We can solo everything so we don’t need you or anyone else so be good little npcs amd follow along.
I can promise you that you’re not losing as much damage as you think you are. If you really feel like you need to restealth you can usually just kill the mob thats hanging in the back while the tank runs ahead and you wont get pulled into combat. Obviously restealth is preferable but it’s not always realistic for it to happen.
Leaving a gcd between pulls is usually optimal anyway, since it also allows healers to top mana, which can prevent them from sitting longer later.
That said, rogue requirements is why I don’t invite rogues.
You gaining more dps costs everyone else dps. Not worth.

Dear mindless melee dps, kill what we started pulling first (and is usually almost dead) instead of being in such a hurry to get to the next pack, that you can’t restealth or whatever.
I chain-pull on weeks I can do that in my keys and I usually jump ahead to get a threat lead on the next pack and it never fails, DH’s, rogues and DK’s will IMMEDIATELY follow me instead of finishing off the last 1-2 mobs in the previous pack before doing so. YOU DONT NEED TO DO THAT!!! …sincerely, Tanks
I find this particularly aggravating this week, on my healer. Tanks leave a mob (with raging on it) at 20% or so and pursue the next packs. Meanwhile the mobs are casting random stuff in the back, they’re immune to cc, stuns, etc, and they’re just doing damage to everyone that I have to heal for no reason. Just finish the damn casters off and then move on. Particularly noteworthy and infuriating in Waycrest Manor. And the dps just follows the tank blindly and ignores the mobs too. Sigh. It sucks to not tank when your main is a tank.
When i don’t pull way too much, and we don’t time the key…some DPS tries to blame my pull rate…eventhough MOST of the time key fails are from poor dps…
This is very unlikely this season… timers are so lenient.
Are you doing no dps as a tank too? It very much is likely your fault.

I love when they do this on the opening packs of Rise. Now here I am stuck having to choose between staying back on the mobs at 20% or help the tank interrupt casts on a new pack because they simply cant do it by themselves. The worst part being he could have pulled bigger had he given us the 5 seconds to finish off the mob so I could restealth and get those silence garrotes.
Literally no one asked for this and the type of dense logic is why some of you tanks are absolutely horrible to play with. No one is telling you not to chain pull. We are just saying you can leave a second after every few packs to restealth, reset lock rocks, allow for mana, etc.
And the fact that some tanks wont even let combat drop before pulling a boss? Like be for real. Thats just inting at that point.

My numbers generally top the dps in those runs…nice try though.
