Prot pallies were the worst at the start of the season and turned into the best after blizzard buffed them post massive tantrums from the paladin community. Into being the undisputed s+ tanks
Forum moderation is definitely lacking because that kind of behavior will get you banned on reddit and discord.
All I am saying is there is a reason certain individuals act the way they do.
This has always been the case. Random casts to ranged players to keep em on their toes has always been there. Be it as direct casts or outright damage auras. It’s always been there. If not everyone would just play ranged DPS a tank and a healer which is still usually preferred even in high end keys unless the class or player are exceptional.
I dunno what you’re looking at but most debuffs you get as a tank are from specific tank buster mobs or boss raid tank debuffs that have to be traded with another tank. Do you just want mobs to stand prone and auto attack the tank and ignore everyone?
You still do this in high keys. Good tanks will move mobs like the grim batol dragons to corners so good DPS and healers can full avoid the AOE he carts among other skills.
You mean learning the game at lower difficulties like m zeroes and then coming into higher keys knowing the mechanics ? Oh no not the streamers!? Don’t need to watch a streamer to learn proper dungeon etiquette of knowing the dungeons. Before you throw yourself into it specially on higher difficulties. Nothing like starting a 10 and having someone die to a basic boss mechanic or mob mechanic because they were waiting for our sage advice …
This is why I rent a flat. No lawns to deal with.
Overall I think tanking is good. The only tank I find is significantly worse than what it was in previous expansions is bdk.
See i think BDK has been improving with each expansion. Seems like each expansion they keed adding QoL improvements to them.
Although i admit i dont care much for Reapers Mark interaction with them
I feel like death on pull is far more likely now. And the opener has more buttons when it was the worst of all the tanks. Once you get going it’s better but the threat of dying in a gcd seems worse.
I also had very little vers gear until recently and it has helped but it’s definitely worse than what it was.
It’s not good news. They closed the barn doors after the horses were gone. The m+ scene is deserted.
They’re going to need to be a bit more nimble next season with the adjustments than they were this season. This is a mess.
Well I don’t disagree that it’s far too little too late.
I am going to celebrate a tiny win and hope it’s a sign of change.
About the only thing I have against tanking is Brewmaster in M+. Why is it so hard to give Monk anything worthwhile to be a not-garbage tank in dungeons?
Was it? I remember it differently. I remember S3 being chock full of garbage one shots and absolutely awful boss design, like the tree boss in WCM stun. It just didn’t matter, because we were allotted 20 hours to complete each key. But, it wasn’t fun navigating all the one shots on the way to a guaranteed win, for me.
Do you not understand how Reddit or Discord are moderated?
It’s not Reddit or Discord doing the work, it’s self-appointed ones. It’s like getting kicked from a guild… which anyone can start.
Again there is a reason why certain individuals act the way they do because there is no fear of being held accountable for the behavior they have.
Neither forms of moderation is perfect but one is vastly superior to the other.
Go overtly break rules on this forum and do a ban speed run.
Unfortunately, blizzard seems either incapable, or unwilling to deal with the obvious trolls on the forums. Best you can do is identify them, and add them to ignore.
Starting to suspect a few of them are just sock puppets of the same person, given how similar their nonsense takes are, and their propensity to show up in the same place, at the same time.
There’s easy methods to figure out if someone is a sock puppet or not. Also, your claim works on both sides of the isle.
Like making a claim and spending the next 40 posts deflecting when called out on said claim because you cant actually back it ? Lol
Your imaginary group that doesnt exist? Lol yet im the one developing things into something else.
Compared to the overall amount of people who actually play m+, it does only amount to a handful.
Forums make up like 2% of the population. And not even 50% of the forum community complains about it. Do the math.
My favorite part is if you take his details of his story: 8 DB, 9.5 minutes under time, monk healer, all high 620+ ilvl, and all 4 in the group being 2700+ io, and look up his m+ runs…that group doesnt exist. You actually cant even match up of the 2 details
Monk healer? Cool found one. Monk is the only one above 623 and no one in the group over 2700 io…not even close
2700 io? Not a single player in any of his DB runs…
And when you ask him about it, he just completely ignores you and moves onto the next post whete he can say “i did play perfectly!”
It’s amazing how one or two ignores can really clean up your experience. Namely the volatile folks who aren’t willing to see your side of the story. It’s all fact for them. No hypotheticals allowed. Blizzard is infallible. Their elitism is infallible.
Is Mikoshi your puppet or mine? Always showing up where we are so often i forget which one of us is logging over to him
I don’t believe it’s that intuitive. People learned to skirt the line with the bullying and harassment to where even if their post does get flagged nothing really comes of it.
I am fairly certain whatever is left of the community team at blizzard is all handled by one person because every time I have contacted support it’s been the same person that responds every single time.
