Good morning all! So I’m interested in tanking and would like to know what addons that everyone recommends for beginners! Please and thank you!
Purely for tanking you might want to use weak auras to track your defensive buffs and method dungeon tools to plan M+ routes.
Depends what tank. Warrior shield block weak aura is nice. DH you can bash face on keyboard, same with druid, same with Dk. Pali no idea just bash your face in concecrate or something. Brewmaster a tracker for iron brew though it’s almost impossible not to have 100% uptime

I also have the threat meter and who taunted addon - which is kinda pointless nowadays
For monk I use that stagger meter addon its gives me a good window when I should use purifying brew.
DeadlyBossMods with a voice pack has some good role specific alerts. I know some people think they’re too HaRdCoRe for DBM, or were told that the big boys use BigWigs and DBM is for noobs, but you can always try it yourself and form your own opinion.

No, if the content is gear appropriate you need to plan runes carefully so you have the spare runic power to death strike when you take a big hit. If you just faceroll you’re placing that load on your healers.
Well atleast for 15s and Heroic raid I just slam my face when i tank healers never really have to heal me

DBM and a good set of unit frames is all I’ve ever used. Does the trick well enough.

Also recommend ThreatPlates to have better nameplates that will track threat and buffs and stuff.
