Hey everybody. How good is warrior at tanking. I really want to try out the sword and shield combo. I know things are changing soon with Dragonflight but I really want to get a tank up and ready. I was thinking of doing arms too so I don’t have ti jerk up with two pieces of weapons/gear but again. I really want to tank

Okay. How good is arms. If I’m going to play another warrior, I don’t want to play the same spec. Fury is what my main is doing
They are decent right now, but not the best. Their current talent trees for DF look solid though, but those will obviously go through more changes.
The biggest thing with prot warrior is whether or not you want to listen to your character constantly going “HGRAAAAAAHHH!!!” as you use your abilities.
Lol the benefits of muting the music. I only have my earphones on in the game if voice acting is happening or something. Maybe I’ll just try survival again. I quite enjoyed it. What do you guys think of survival hunters as they are right now? I want to make another hunter and the character I’m on now is too far along to just switch weapons
All I can say is that class is better than its community perception.
Brewmaster & Windwalker is better than Prot/arms warrior at the moment but who knows what will happen in DF
Prot warrior is just a worse prot paladin atm. That being sad they are still really good for tanking physical, and have really good damage on each pack. Their main weakness is magical damage, so these current dungeons are pretty bad for it, but come Dragonflight they will 100% be the top 1 or 2 tank.
Prot warrior is very strong right now.
Basically ots considered to be eityer the second or third best tank, just alot of people think they are still the worst tank for some reason.

Past perception + higher skill cap = thinking a strong class is weak.
Tru, it is weird though considering how meta obsessed the wow community is.
You would think people would atleast keep up with changes.
Warrior isnt bad can tank the highest keys like all tanks but lacks in the fun dept also damage dept so its not desired.
Good and fun.
I enjoyed Prot in BFA, it was really fun then. Don’t know about now.
It’s probably in the A tier for tanking rn, with Prot pally but behind blood dk
Bulletproof 130% vers prot was a fun time.
