In total, you are looking at between 2600 gold and 7400ish gold after selling the runes. It used to be more, but the prices have slowly come down since launch.
It does that with healer too except it’s closer to half an hour.
It’s weird.
Honestly if we are selling the runes for around 1600G each and almost 1K gold, why don’t they just offer like 10K each time you sign up as a tank or healer when you are not premade, you will find a lot more tanks and healers signing up for sure.
A real reward is far better than a chance at 2500+G for doing some garbage dungeon, and that’s assuming your runes even sell.
This is exactly it. Runes are expensive and short supply, so lots of people watch for the bags. A funny thing you find is that if you can do both healer and tank and queue for both when a satchel pops up, the other one will likely pop. Like if there’s a healer satchel and you queue as both heals and tank you’re very likely to get tank.
Expensive yes, but there are 8326 currently up on my server, and these are not region wide, there is over 7000 on the other OCE server, they are not in short demand.
Doubt it’s been fixed. But fairly certain there is a major bug with the party finder where players who queue for multiple roles will unintentional clog the queue since the finder can’t decide what role he should be.
It’s quite noticeable in LFR when it starts to show flip flop between 1/5 - 2/4 tank/healer
Well that makes sense, quite silly since it’s never happened in previous expansions.
Naah, the bug has been in the game in a while. Recall seeing it back in legion.
I’ve never had an issue with satchel queues before DF. Rarely if ever I will see a DPS satchel, but in DF either the population is dead, my guild tell me when it’s around 5-6AM my time (2-3AM their time) they get DPS satchels, but lately I have been seeing them in the PM my time.
And DPS queues even with a satchel are worse than tank and heals.
Or due to this bug thinking there are more healers and tanks than there really are the game is thinking we need DPS.
A single raid team can go through 200 in a serious night of prog, 7000 is not a lot. The only reason there aren’t 2000 or fewer is because they’re so expensive that groups only use them on potential kill pulls.
You are aware satchel appears which pings everyones “looking for satchel addon” causing a mass of that spec to queue in the 1-2 minute window the satchel is open
When the queue needs 10 tanks and 200 sign up your going to be short healers and dps
I think the system is just sort of messed up. I was in q for a satchel as tank for 20 minutes. I ended up dropping it, the satchel vanished, and then I was again out of curiosity and bam instant q. No satchel.
As opposed to every other expansion that has had a satchel and never had this problem?
