How come it never come to their mind that it could be a good idea?
Plate = 3 tanks , 1 healer
Mail = 0 tank, 2 healers
Leather = 3 tanks, 2 healers
Cloth = 0 tank, 1 healer
I bet next new class will be a cloth tank

Tinker could be mail armor, tank, heal, and more importantly be another contesting class for ranged weapons. Just saying.

Their logic is that they wanted the new hero class to be entirely casters. There’s a logic to it but they’re forgetting that they’re supposed to be making their game fun

Also when we check the barbershop armor customization… i mean you can look like full plate! Thats some tanking gear in there!
God i wish they gave evoker tank spec, it’s my favorite class but i always liked being able to swap between tank dps or heal.
But monk/druid/pally arent as fun as evoker to me…
evoker shouldnt of been the new class, it should of been tinkerer… the problem is, dragon expansion demanded a dragon class

in rl chain and scale mail was used to tank hits… Lord of the rings did this too with frodo… so again… Mail SHOULD be used as tank armor… Also heard that theres a cast system for dracthyr so theres hope a large chance the warrior spec will be the elite warriors of dracthyr… But every classes they let dracthyr use would be the lesser warriors if you read the lore

you cant have a dragon race casting magical spells if their story is them being locked up in a vault for over 50thousand years

I can’t disagree with this more. Mail is lousy for anything other than a glancing blow, or cuts. Anything bludgeoning or stabby will do it’s job successfully.
As one who had fought for years as an SCA Heavy, hardened leather offers similar protection profiles as plate, just less of it (it breaks faster, but offers solid protection until it starts getting soft). The only foghters on the field wearing mail are showing off and still need to wear harder minimums in sensitive areas.
In any case, pretty sure the skin of dracthyrs is similar to dragons, meaning resistant enough so they could take a bunch of hits before a scale gets taken off.
And evokers are magical so they could create magic shields around them.
An evoker should be able to tank.

You just lack imagination.
And your imagination isn’t grounded in any sort of reality on what blizzard would ever actually add. They wouldn’t do tinkerer any sort of justice, leaving it trash.
That’s fair. 
I would still like to see the attempt since there is something to be explored. They had shown us possibilities and I would very much like a tech based class especially since engineering sucks. They revamped professions and engineering still didnt get any better. Even a copy paste of old stuff would of been a good idea.

Shamans also deserve to tank, bring back rockbitter weapon. Shaman tanking would feel great. That would be the first elemental tank

It did come to mind, ppl scream at them for a mail tank regularly. They just ignore it bc they don’t want to do it.
