Where are the TANKS for SHAMAN and EVOKER.

Well… I didn’t want a tank for Evoker, because it makes no sense.
Tank spec for Shaman… heck yes.

I found it so baffling that evoker didn’t have a tank spec. Like aug was a real “what?” moment.
I hope when they add 3rd dh spec it’s another spec that can use bows/guns, uses fel magic in their stuff instead of hunter’s arcane/nature sort. Fel armaments now!!! Fel grenade! Bam! fel time! sorry anyway, yea Evoker tanks, ranged dh spec, monk loremaster spec that’s a support spec, anddddddddddd spell breaker class.

A tank spec for evoker doesn’t mean anyone will play it. No one’s playing the tank specs we already have.

Evoker is not a melee class, has never been a melee class, and will never have a tank spec because it’s not a melee class.
More like they’re really good at ignoring a few people demanding more specs for the least-played role, just for them to not see widespread play unless they’re constantly meta like Prot paladin and Veng are.

They never existed. Shaman tanks were a meme on Classic and every revisit to the ordinary Classic servers demonstrate that; and Evokers have never had a tanking specialization, and with how the characters are structured and the like, it doesn’t make much sense to have 'em be a tank.
Just because you are able to spam something doesn’t make it what folks “actually want.” If Shaman tanks matter this highly to you, just go and play Season of Discovery.

Anything is possible, its just depends to what they decide to do. Shaman are melee and range. dont see why not a tank evoker or a tank mage (Battle Mage)
It is not in the realm of possibility that the evoker class designers are going to look at its existing specs and decide to slap a tank spec on a class that was designed to be completely ranged. Survival going from ranged to melee was different because hunters have always had melee abilities.
Shaman were designed to have both melee and ranged abilities from the beginning. Evokers and mages weren’t, they’ve always been ranged only.

I can’t speak for Shaman, but I do not really want a tank spec for Evoker. I am happy with the roles we have now for it.
