Vengeance Demon Hunter here. I went into Undermine tonight having my 2 piece set bonus, which procs “Luck of the Draw”. I kept glancing on Details to see how often it procced, but I couldn’t find it, so I figured it must be called something else. Finally, after a 2% Gallywix pull, I saw it. Over the course of that entire fight, it procced 2 times. After our two hour raid I looked and found that Luck of the Draw procced 6 times the entire night. So I got 8 extra seconds of meta. That seems excessively weak. Has anyone else noticed this?
Reports claim about a 1 PPM on average. There’s also a few finicky things about it too. Like if it procs while you already have meta up, it won’t register/take over.
I ran a delve after I posted my original question and noticed something odd. This time I noticed my weak aura that shows meta going off multiple times for 4 seconds, but Luck of the Draw only showed up twice. Is Luck of the Draw separate from the meta proc?
I got mine last night and had the same experience. I think the issue here is that it procs based off of you getting it. Rather than hitting things. Meaning it procs semi often when doing large trash pulls in mythic+ but basically never procs when tanking bosses. As most bosses really don’t hit you that often.
A friend of mine suggested that what they should do is make it so that popping the ability tied to it would also give you luck of the draw like how it works for some other specs. I think this would actually be a decent solution to this. In any case, something needs to be done. As the set bonus is basically worthless for anything but tanking trash(from my experience with it so far anyways).
