Just so everyone knows, Tanaris as of 3:30 EST has been hotfixed to be a sanctuary.

I didn’t PvP much there either but it’s insane they decided to make the entire area there a sanctuary instead of fixing the problems people were having.
Guards were effectively useless because you could run up on the stage to reset guards and if not that you could queue for a follower dungeon. It was even mentioned on the Wowhead article. Blizzard decided “Nah, too much work.” and just made it a sanctuary.

Cant believe people sooked about this to begin with, pretty simple to turn WM off
May as well change the game name to world of “wokecraft” seems more fitting to cater for the spuds these days.
Pretty easy to address the real underlying problems such as follower queues etc

I’m more shocked Blizzard actually made a change with War Mode in mind. Did someone at Blizzard actually acknowledge world PvP exists?

i doubt it. what probably happened is a Timmy said he didn’t log out in the exact middle of the event and didn’t get rested XP so they increased the error margin

Absolutely same, I spent most of my time on a healer preventing gankers from securing kills. Not much I could do about anyone not geared or under 80, and I made a few new rivals (not pvp rank rival, just… a rival) that seemed to think they could solo a full conq geared healer in open world before the guards forced them away.
It’s ok though cause they are going to put a lot of focus into player housing which will fix a lot of the game breaking… wait…
I would say someone at Blizz got ganked a few times, but we know nobody there plays their own game, let alone in warmode. I like to think that dev’s friend / relative prob got mercilessly farmed in Tanaris and complained to them lol
