So the patch was supposed increase the number of Bronze Celebration Tokens rewarded for weekly quests in Tanaris and Dornogal. The rewards updated for Dornogal weeklies, but not the weeklies at the Caverns of Time in Tanaris.
None of the quests in Tanaris were mentioned in the post, so it’s working as intended.
I thought the Chromie quest and Timewalking dungeon quest were mentioned in the post?
No, they mentioned “Bonus Holiday” weeklies which is talking about the weekly event quest. This week is the arena skirmish event, so it’s the arena skirmish quest.
Dang that sucks, hardly makes the TW Dungeon quest and other Tanaris weeklies worth doing anymore I guess.
Actually they did specifically mention those entirely separately from the Dornogal current weeklies. Bonus Holiday Content includes BRD raid, Codex of Chromie, Korrak’s Revenge, and the An Original Path Through Time weekly.
They specially call it out here.
This should open repeat tokens faster and allow players to continue with their preferred content type be it PvP (Korrak’s Revenge), raiding (Blackrock Depths), dungeons (Classic Timewalking), or outdoor style content (World Bosses or Codex of Chromie).
And then specify at the top of the list:
- Dornogal Weekly Quests (Worldsoul, Archive, Delve) – 10 Bronze Celebration Tokens
- Bonus Holiday Quests (Timewalking, World Quests, Arena, Battleground, Dungeon, Delve) – 10 Bronze Celebration Tokens
These were supposed to be part of this and they did not update them. It is also still a Timewalking week per the calendar.
They specifically mention BRD and Codex of Chromie which are quests you cannot pick up in Dornogal. If they meant only current Dorn weeklies, they wouldn’t include holiday only weeklies.
And interestingly enough, they didn’t call out updating the one-time rewards from the Guest Relations questline and yet those were updated to 5 tokens per crate (up from 2). I have yet to go on an alt to see if I can get the reward again but it sure feels great losing out on a reward because I chose to do a questline and its secrets the day they were available.
