Taming pets

So this might have been answered before but I can’t get a clear answer.

I have an 80 hunter. I have always wanted Fenryr as a pet. I went in the dungeon, soloed it on mythic and tried to tame the one behind in the cave. It died … straight up died. Then I read that maybe I was too high and I should use a freeze trap. Well, I went to practice that to see if it indeed worked … it did not. In both instances, the pets died before reaching the end of the cast or just at the end of the cast.

WTH? Any other suggestions?

Take off your trinkets and cloak (back item). There are many effects that activate upon entering combat that can easily one-shot good boy Fenryr. :dracthyr_heart:

That has be the issue. After you kill the boss version of Fenryr a tameable version spawns, which is non aggressive until you tame them.

at least you CAN tame, after patch i cant tame ANYTHING at all, i do have unbreakable bonds, but wow thinks i dont
