So what are your strategies for taming Gon if anyone has done it recently?
I am right there at the egg, if i stand behind the rail i am left alone, but if i jump on it a guard comes running, feint death and he runs away, but he comes back if i recover on the rail or on the other side of the rail, freezing trap, tar trap?
Use camoflage, walk right up to the egg , drop a trap, and touch it. Tame beast. Ignore guard. By the time you start taking any real damage, Gon will be yours. I think I got swamped and killed, but just rezzed and hearthed home.
I helped another player by being the punching bag, just kept all the focus on me while they tamed.
On my alliance hunter, I went to the spot in orgimar, got in good position to view the egg thing when it appeared and then let myself get killed. Didn’t select to resurrect until the egg thing spawned, then resurrected activated it and tamed. I was able to do this and stole him from the hordie that was camping him and killed me originally. I was afraid that I wouldn’t see the egg spawn when I was dead, but you do. Good luck.
