I got the tome of bone binding , learned it and cannot tame Gluth. I put in a bug report and I can’t find any recent discussion on this. I’m hoping someone can help me with this , is this a long known issue and I should just forget about this tame ?
I was not able to tame Gluth either and when I used beast lore it shows it as untameable. As a sanity check I immediately went to Nazmir and tamed a skeleton dino (Reanimated Monstrosity) which for a gnome can only be done if you have read the bone binding tome.
Either its a bug or wowhead is incorrect.
I checked on the net, and Petopia shows tameable for Undead Hunters, and tameable for other Hunters possessing the Tome.
Petopia also showed several possible alts, tameable look-alikes.
Also, there were several posts from people with the same trouble as the OP. Multiple attempts made, low success. No fix offered, other than keep trying, or tame an alt.
Try it again on heroic or 25 mode. Somehow it didnt work on normal for me.

I would tame BOTH . I am BM and am specced so I get an additional companion. If Only I could get that Dam Tome to drop for Me.
Any Suggestion’s? To farm this elusive Tome
