For anyone who is still not aware, Blood Soaked Tome of Dark Whispers is a guarantee drop from Zul (Normal and Heroic).

Just killed Zul on normal…no drop.
Maybe you changed the spec loot? I got it from heroic, but i know a lot who got the tome from normal.
5 BM hunters joined normal Uldir and killed Zul and all of us loot tomb.
I thought it has 100% drop rate. Interesting…
What was your spec when you killed Zul?
Did you remember to heath out of the raid when Zul is at 3% health?

That doesn’t work anymore it has been fixed.
Even before that it was such a idiotic way to get the tome.
Maybe I’m missing something. I was definitely in BM spec. We did wipe a few times, but that shouldn’t matter.
Did you kill Zul before the change? If so you were loot locked and couldn’t receive the tomb. You are going to have to wait for reset if that’s the case.
When I got it, we had like 8 to 10 Hunters in the group. It was a beautiful sight to behold. I believe we had a few wipes, but we moved forward. At the end, both tanks died at 5% health and that’s when you saw like all Hunters go BW on the boss…
Funniest thing ever was on one of the wipes, someone blamed a Hunter for breaking CC…they had to be reminded that Hunters made up more than 50% of the raid…
We got our Tome. Good luck to those still farming it.

Hell, Don’t forsake a good tame. Go for it, just seek out a normal. its not that much different from regular.
Added, there are many forgiving players leveling Tank Alts with geared friends. also, the more Hunters in group the less likely it will dissolve in a angry fit of rage over simple wipes.

The raid is pretty old by now, everyone is above 370, so normal Zul should be a piece of cake.
Just take a look at Fatboss at YT and go for it.
Oh, I was being 100% honest. Wasnt interested in taming one. But I might have been interested in going on a raid if it dropped. Just for completions sake. My gear is mostly 350+ except I cant get any replacement rings

I got it from heroic on a random farm run we did. It dropped for both our BM hunters. I read a blue post saying that it was changed to now always drop from Heroic Zul, instead of the intended strategy which was killing Zul with only Hunters in the raid.
Either it doesn’t drop from Normal or Normal has a lower drop chance.
All the hunters in my raid got it when I did a normal zul, everyone was BM.
I got it as survival
