Now that Anzu’s taming bug has been fixed, this has brought to light another issue.
How this works is that after a beastmaster hunter has tamed Anzu, the Postmaster will mail loot that the hunter player would have received as though they’d killed the boss. Anzu almost instantly respawns after being tamed, and taming him yet again will also result in new loot being mailed.
All the hunter has to do is repeatedly tame the bird boss, abandon the pet when all their Call Pet slots are filled, and rinse and repeat. It’s not lucrative in terms of gold, but it can be very useful to get around the daily lockout if you’re attempting to farm the Raven Lord mount. I doubt that’s intended.
