This was happening to me from week 1. Everyone else lives, I fall to my death. Sometimes I'm graced with a disconnect as I'm falling, only to log back in dead. This time I was grouped with everyone, they all lived, I took 138k fall damage. This is infuriating! Both normal and heroic :( - At least its not a long run back =/

Along with others here, I also had the same issue with the elevator in Antorus, where others would run onto it and it was still halfway up for me - for them it was obviously already on the ground.
Also on Talec, when we've wiped, the elevator is still on the ground when the doors open for me, everyone else sees the floor as solid, I see it as a huge hole.
There is clearly something extremely buggy with your elevators Blizzard, which is not the end of the world when they don't really impact anything, but needs to be fixed ASAP if you're making it part of a boss fight.

2) Ran the Scan and Repair from the BNet Launcher.

I have never had issues with elevators before or even long loading screens until this raid came out. Maybe coincidence on loading times. My bf has no issues and he has the same computer specs as I do.

-I still died on Taloc
*I deleted my cache AGAIN, and tried /reload when everyone was in the raid before the pull.
-I lived and the elevator reached the floor.
*Days later with /reloads before boss
-still living but the elevator is slowly getting higher and higher.
I guess I'll have to delete the cache constantly to not have to rely on potions or mage slowfalls to live.

Out of curiosity to see just how badly my elevator is desynced with the rest of my raid, I died on the elevator so that I would not be knocked back.
When my raid group got knocked back at the appropriate spot just before the bottom on their end, the elevator was about 3x further up than the normal spot on my end =/

Same thing happens to a guildie of mine. I like how a huge ( POSSIBLE PROGRESSION IMPAIRING BUG ) is in the game on a boss, but doesn't get fixed or even addressed lmao
This prevented us from progressing on mythic last night. Literally lost both tanks and a healer every time to fall damage.
This bug is really ruining the raid for me, Im having to skip the boss because my elevator is synced differently from those I play with.
Still ongoing. No blue posts... encouraging.
This happens to me on every run.
Having the same issue. Incredibly annoying being punted off the platform, having to blink/slowfall to not die, then have my camera get all out of wack when mechanics come in to play because the elevator is literally descending onto my face.
Still happening... every pull for me and two others in my guild group tonight. Also the invisible / out of sync lasers. This is completely intolerable. Fix your game, or at least recognize the issue...

I have same issue with lasers. Last night on M Taloc I died, checked death logs to see it was laser dmg, and then said laser came up through the elevator
Same problem with elevator being out of sync, get knocked off early and often die to falling, and even worse the beams are totally out of sync. So on my screen they're no where near but they still hit me, and when I see them they pass right through people.
Had the same issue with elevator in antorus when they had the memory compression craziness but on a totally different computer now.
Have deleted wow cache several times, doesn't seem to make any difference.

I do, i deleted my logs and still have the problem and the other 4 people in my raid that log dont have the problem. My problem fluctuates night to night some nights i get a foot off the ground before im blown off others im up in the shaft still. I'm just lucky i play class's that can deal with it in 1 way or another. help from blizz would be nice. At this point it feels like there just ignoring the problem. PS I've tried running with very few addons and with normal amount that i usually use, I've tried deleting cache to no benefit. and the problem isn't consistent across my characters or pulls some pulls are a lot worse than others. The amount the elevator changes pull to pull night to night.

I do have advanced combat logging enabled, but have had it enabled for weeks before this started happening.
It's not just in Uldir either, one of the timewalking pandaria dungeons has an elevator in it, which came down, then instantly started going up when it touched down (instead of waiting the normal period.) The rest of my party jumped onto it while I waited, thinking it wasn't there - then they just disappeared from view, and continued moving. When it came down again, i was able to hop onto it, it went to the top, and didn't go the full length before proceeding back down instantly. Had to ride it all the way down, then back up, and it paused at the top finally for me to get off. (It was the pandaria dungeon w/ the three armies surrounding you as you kill the lieutenants or whatever? Didn't play pandaria much so not terribly familiar with those dungeons.)

Another thought I had, I had this is my config.wtf from when loading got stupid long in legion, I set it back to the default of "1" and didn't die to lag beams, but hard to tell for sure if that's why.
