So here’s the thing… I’d like to see the talking head itself, but I don’t want to hear it.
Is there an addon for that?
Leatrix only seems to hide the talking head, but the voice still keeps going.
I think BeQuiet and the like will both hide it and mute it?

Forget add-ons. Just let us turn them off entirely by default.
The BeQuiet addon has a mute and a hide option.

Yes, one for mute one for hide.
I have not tested though, I use both.

Truly one of the best addons in the game. Why there is no setting for it is wild.
This! We cannot enjoy the zone’s music with these fools blathering all the sodding time.
Also, WoW’s an MMORPG, not an RTS. That trash should never have been put in WoW. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: If you want no flying, linear storytelling, and talking heads, make Warcraft 4.

I put a piece of tape on my screen where they show up and now I at lease don’t see their obstruction.

I wish I could resize the talking head without addons. I’ve used MoveAnything and MoveAny in the past but when they aren’t updated then I have to stop using them for a bit. I don’t need it taking up a large bit of my screen to know it’s there.
First thing I did was move the talking head ui to the center top of the UI so I could ignore it. Rather than have it cover the spellbars.
I would like to mute talking heads irl as well.
Did you move yours from the default location as well?
I moved mine to the top of the screen and its a lot more tolerable lol.
I’m using BlizzMove and it’s been pretty consistent. No issues. I can resize and move it and it’ll stay in place.
The base UI does need more options for this though.

I think it’s ctrl+scroll wheel to resize it. You need to wait until it pops up and then resize while mousong over and then move it. A little tricky to get used to, but once set, it’s set!
i’ve tried moving them with the base ui and it resets to block part of my actionbars sometimes, it’s so annoying
half of the time i play with my laptop muted now and just listen to spotify, there’s way too much npc spam
