Talk About Your Transmog

Rather than having another ‘rate it!’ thread, why not a thread where we can talk about our transmogs and what we went for, and maybe comment on each others’?

Mine is just a thick battlerobe that I added the Void Elf belt to, to give it some fanciness. The staff is a story piece that ties my character in with Shadowlands. She’s taken an interest in ‘death magic’, for lack of a better term.

I usually don’t alter the appearance of my gear except to hide it. It’s free, and cheap is a Goblin trait. So, anywho, I’ve really nothing to talk about. Oh, except that I look fabulous!

Firey gear adds passive fire damage to melee. This is true and you can’t convince me otherwise.

When I saw how this hat takes up 1/3 of my height, I just can’t resist

Im using this mog because im still a new player and this was a fast set to get.

I’m not original and I really like the old raid/tier sets. I have a Blackrock orc warrior so I felt like I had to do this.

I still don’t have Ironhoof Destroyer though…

This mog is a work in progress. The main colors are gold, silver and red. I thought I’d try to make something sexy this time, but you always have to account for the fact that the skimpier you get with plate, the farther back in time you have to go, which means using armor with lo-res textures.

This mog is a compromise - it brings the sexy but supplements the platekini look by surrounding it with higher-res textures of the same color scheme. It’s a trade-off, but I think it works.

So to complete this look, I need 2 1 pieces - one is the Bloody Bandanna head piece and the other is the Arm of the Dragonrider (Gold) Legion artifact appearance. It looks great in the dressing room where I plotted this all out.

PS. And I just got the Bandanna go me

well looking intimidating has its perks

Kinda varies, I got two character “ideas” attached to this character. One looks more like a “Snow Elf” while the other is supposed to look like a Farstrider Lieutenant which is the one I am wearing now.

I like my transmog to be appropriate for whatever I am doing. Right now I just have my generic 7th Legionnaire warfront set on but, while I am not an RPer, I do like my gear to make sense lore-wise.

My worgen is a cybernetically enhanced undead vampire werewolf that wears no plate chest because the armor bonus from veteran of the third war was nerfed because ???.

I really liked the grey/brown/bronze/brass design of the pieces I gathered. I wanted to go with something relatively functional and not too dk-centric. The shoulders are a bit oversized, but along with the gloves they seem to give a bigger profile to the fworgen model, which is a bit too slender for my tastes.

The weapon I am still sorting out. I wanted something big but not needlessly so. And not too small either because the animations get a bit wonky that way.

I love the dark shaman set, it took me 6 months to get it. So I just mostly use that but took off the helm and chest to be a little more manly.

Only elite set I’ve obtained, never see anyone wearing it, so I wanted to be a special snowflake.

I wanted a set that says I’m a monk, I like my brew icy cold and I’m a void elf. So I think: mission accomplished :purple_heart:

I made this mog to be bright and ridiculous, then a friend told me it reminded him of the game Lite-Brite

It looks BOMB with the Spirit Darter wings but they dont show on Armory. :frowning:

My current outfit here was a perfect fit for the anniversary cloak so I had to switch to it for the time being. I’ll probably wear this for a good while through Shadowlands.

As to the outfit itself, it’s mostly the mage tier 4 Aldor set, but I prefer not to wear a robe most of the time and would absolutely be thrilled if Blizzard ever gave us an option to hide the skirt part of robes in the transmog interface so I didn’t have to rely on shirts and tabards that don’t always match as well as I’d like to pull the look together.

Things I like about this outfit are the fact that the gloves, while having dimension aren’t overly chunky. I am also super happy that the boots aren’t just flat painted on socks like most cloth boots have been from Cataclysm onward. I really want Blizzard to stop thinking it’s ok to just slap a flat texture as cloth footwear just because it’s usually hidden by a robe. It’s not ok, and it’s a travesty that they did this to the Blood Elf heritage armor which actually has a non-robe chest option!

Another big plus for me with this outfit is how perfectly that particularly mage artifact appearance matches! I try to color coordinate everything. My outfit, my weapon, and even my mount! I use the Pureheart Courser with this outfit by the way.

Dress simply and carry a big stick!

I just got tired of clipping and giant shoulders on this character so its simple and plain but with a big Fel staff :stuck_out_tongue:

Oddly I gave my old T-Mog to this character

:smiling_imp:

I wanted a set that says: I’m a void elf shadow priest and I know some really terrifying secret things that you probably shouldn’t worry about . . . yet :purple_heart: This will be replaced by the purple Venthyr cloth set that absolutely screams evil Disney villainess. But I’ll get it anyway :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:
