The new tree that were introduced in Dragonflight what would you call it a talent tree or a skill tree?
Talent tree. First off, that’s what it’s actually called. Second off, talent tree gives a better indication that the nodes in it could be active or passive while skill tree implies to me that it would only be active abilities.

Don’t make the system more complex than it is ,adding more for a skill tree would confuse even more players from the playing the game. Want a knuckle sandwich?
I was going to say the same thing, but D2 skill trees had passives in them too, so there’s never really been a well-defined distinction between the two terms.
And that isn’t even limited to Blizzard. The Etrian games that were recently rereleased are turn-based RPGs with skill trees – and there are passives in those too.
It’s two different terms for the same thing.
I’m not going to call them anything, just hold my nose and wait for them to go away.
