A message feed that they use to post to twitter but also to the launcher and forums is one thought that comes to my mind, that way to they type it out once, but it mass posts to everywhere it can post to at that time.

No, there’s no reason to put your updates into the actual launcher of the games, why would you do that? Use twitter, don’t you all have phones? /facedesk
To clarify what I mean by twitter hates me: I am banned from twitter, they have every device I own traced, by IP, and so it doesn’t matter if I make a new account, they still won’t let me through. Their security system immediately locks the new account. They have never told me what I did to get the ban, beyond the standard “you violated our rules, so you are banned forever” so yeah. Having a nice phone, which I do, doesn’t help me get on twitter.
In my post here I was talking about an announcement message feed, which I would have thought they already had, they used to tell us when they knew there was an issue in the launcher, so why just twitter all of a sudden is just silly to me.
Edit: through the grapevine I have heard that the message they posted on twitter on this string of issues was their standard “our authentication servers are having difficulty” line, which I have seen on the launcher before in times past.
This game has had serious issues ever since 10.1.5 was released. My computer is fast, my wow installation has it’s own dedicated NVME drive and before this patch I could load up WoW in seconds. (In fact I could go from power on system to the game in under 30 seconds) Now when I log in, it pauses on the character selection screen, if I switch servers it pauses and takes forever to switch realms. If I log out of the game completely it hangs and becomes unresponsive. It will eventually close on it’s own, but if I were to click on the game window it will ask to end the task (like a crashed app)
I have fiber internet with a 1ms latency, so it’s not related to the internet or my computer.
Game ran great in Sl, don’t think we will ever see a fix. Will have to rely on hardware bruteforcing it.
