See what I said?
Stalkers. Wish the forum block would also prevent these people into seeing my posts etc. We’re better off without them. The world would be better off without them.
I don’t even remember posting on cataclysm forums or whatever.
FWIW I also think it’s pretty cruddy to ground people who can’t handle dragonriding. If it’s okay for us to fly, it should be okay for us to fly whichever way is best for each of us.
Especially since those stuck behind the barrier trend more towards those with accessibility issues, it feels especially bad that Blizz insists on this gate. You said you guys are rethinking old beliefs… why die on this particular hill?
Please. Figure out a better solution for dynamic flight toggling. And don’t make old flying an “upgrade” that those who need have to work harder to earn.
BlizZard insists on the gate because they are worried that the metrics they are overly dependent upon are not showing up for them so they are resorting to arm twisting tactics to force DR.
They did the same thing with flight whistles, avianna’s feather, etc.
Same tactics, but same dead end result.
BlizZard is like that donkey that hits the wall over and over again thinking this time will be different.
Well that is what is being currently discussed in the beta forums and I tend to agree. BiizZard doesn’t really understand class fantasy or player choice.
get off the ground, aim straight up, use entire gas tank, glide slightly angled down in the direction you need to go. not too much different, just pointless extra steps.
In order to unlock steady flight is by doing the main campaign which consists of the four main campaigns and exploring the four main zones and getting to max level. Also, you don’t need to use skyriding to get steady flight those that says that are straight up lying to your face. The War Within zones are all and I do mean ALL of the zones in that expansion is ground mount friendly.
Be very afraid of the BlizZard rug pull. They are adding more clunkiness to something that should be straightforward. What happens when they start putting “harsh opportunity costs” attached to using DR???
Same clunkiness that happened with Covenants but BlizZard is obsessed with harsh opportunity costs.
