Players are party syncing with their level 60 friends that have covenant abilities. Take away the ability for level 60 players to party sync battlegrounds. If you’re 60, do 60 things. No convoke, no mindgames, no gimmicks.
Really? We learned that trick from the horde, enjoy.

You can get your covenant abilities right away after going through the SL maw intro (which you can start at level 48).
It might not be only level 60’s you are seeing.
how do you get higher stats like vers while syncd?
Why is this community so terrible? All I see are people calling to have things they don’t like banned constantly.

This is actually the single most fun content of Shadowlands. Build an optimized Level 60 PvP char, get your friend to hop on a low level char, party-sync, queue for Battlegrounds, OMG I’m a god!

Cause I’m on a level 33 character. Its just obnoxious at this point. Its just level 60s that aren’t good enough to play 60 pvp.

I was playing with a friend who is levelling up to 60, and was shocked to see that I had covenant abilities in low level BGs.
They disable my goblin glider cloak, my gems, my enchants, and all my gear was locked to a certain ilvl, but I got to keep my covenant abilities? Seems odd.

Yeah I figured that out already xD. But your HP is high and you get covenant ability. I think I care less now then when I posted this.
This is why these DELETE REMOVE THIS threads are useless for quality critical feedback, Emotions.
To all the people above me, its not just lvl 50-59 BGs that this is happening, this is happening at all lower lvl brackets!! Even before the covenant abilities became a factor, party sync in BGs have been a major exploitative issue.
And to the dude that said “let friends play with friends” thats what “creating a new alt” is for. Allowing “friends” to play in low lvl BGs as someone whom is lvl60 is ridiculous. Dungeons is where party sync should be used for, because you are just versing other AI no big deal, but when you are versing other players, based on skill and strategy now turning into whom ever is lvl60 with all the great gear and best spells is unfair.
I can only imagine anyone defending this are the very people whom are doing this exploit. And before anyone says “its not an exploit if blizz made it that way” doesn’t mean it can’t be abused (which it is) and something blizz can correct to stop the exploitive system from damaging the game play further.
Pvp should be a mode to challenge yourself against another play based on skill and strategy. It can be really fun when you try to out play and out wit the opposing team and victory (or a loss) is all that more sweet when a good match is played on an even playing field.
Now pvp hass been tarnished because of this party sync system. It needs to go.

You “learned to cheat by spamming low brackets” from the horde? No. Cheating is your nature. You cheat because daddy blizzard pays you to slaughter low level players to get free wins in bgs so you can get that sweet free welfare loot you deserve for being alliance, and that’s way more fun than playing in your own bracket or doing your own content. God forbid you might have to run into actual PvP.
People hide behind the “friends playing together” when what they’re doing is using throwaway toons to sync premades of elites coordinating in discord down into lower brackets for easy farming of currency.

it just hit me like a ton of bricks. i dont know why it wasnt so obvious before. players using threads of fate to level are too undergeared to use the random dungeon finder since it has an ilvl requirement and are being forced to pvp! by forced i mean able to quest for gear, buy it off the ah, make it with trade skills…
but definitely they dont have any other options to gear up and face these monsters with the BoA ilvl.
maybe bgs need a minimum ilvl requirement too? keep out the riffraff.
with my main’s 225 ilvl, it’s actually more challenging to party sync and have horrible template scaling at lower level and no access to my high level talents/legendary/enchants than it is in random bgs at level 60. Went 19-1 the other day and every one of those wins was a complete stomp
i’m glad you did, i agree that covenant ability sub level 48 is wrong. to further reinforce bad stats when party synced, i go from 31% vers at level 60 to 8% vers at level 59 (and pvp trinket set bonus is disabled along with their effects)

I don’t know about covenant spells sub level 48, but you don’t have full talents when you party sync, your trinkets don’t work, and your stats are dramatically reduced. A level 51 with N’Zoth patch BFA gear is more geared than the 60s I’ve seen in party sync.

Actually, it’s still the worst. Druids grouping up with the healers convoking in 40 brackets is really frustrating. Level 60s just swarming the lower brackets now. It’s just really bad. PLay in your bracket. We don’t need SL gimmicks in non-shadowland brackets.
