I think you should be able to have your dragon tail in visage form but smaller. If you have to turn into visage form all the time for stuff should at least get to keep your tail.
In the past, some dragons have used the Visage form as a way to completely hide the fact that they’re a dragon. Having a tail might give that away! Although to be fair, the player race isn’t technically a “dragon” so meh. May as well allow it for those that want it.

That’s too FF XIV. We already have more choices then the aspects themselves have/had.
Oh there will be much blood… even closing your eyes will not hide it.
Yeah I’m not sure the visage forms we have are gonna do much to hide anything like that.
