Ok so, I’m farming for Deep sea satin, and I’m looking through all the guides for farming methods for both Tidespray cloth and Deep sea satin, most of the guides suggest farming zones that offer little to no materials, a couple locations happen to be alliance only because they’re farming our npc’s, and the final option when all else fails is to scrap. Now what I do not understand, is why one sanguicell being an epic material is so god damn impossible to get, and becomes completely useless once you raid, giving it no longevity for the time spent, but as well the Deep sea satin drop, mainly used for expensive 30 slot bags that take forever to farm if you even get the chance, are first used to make 310 gear, and are acquired by scrapping 300+ blues. Backwards logic. If i need a material to make a 300 item, but need 300 ilvl items to get the mat in the first place, why did i bother wasting my time. Aswell if I have to farm mythics for hydrocores, and raids for sanguicell, and loot is already dropping for me, and I also have rerolls available to get that chance to get the gear I need to replace, why the Hell would I waste my time and money farming profession gear considering the circumstances. Nothing makes any sense. No more well thought out item enchants, no useful end game glyphs just transmog glyphs basically, no more abundance of gem sockets, very little use of leatherworking, tailoring, blacksmithing. You guys acted like children developing the game. First your dev team tells us we don’t want what we want, then your dev team gets but hurt and gives us what you think we want, and completely misses the mark 100%. Take notes from WotLK for christ sake. Nothing is tying together for a complete experience. I’m ranting now. The point is this tailoring profession seems completely useless to me. I’m trying to farm what I can to make 300+ armor, so I can do a heroic, and I’m going to replace the ish as soon as I make it. From that I’m going to struggle to get a group that will take me into mythics because of the elitists you created from the time you forced them to spend gearing in the first place, only to be left to LFR which in of itself is a slap. As well I like the fact that there is armor in the rep vendors, but tbh, who has time to complete each story mode quest line and then farm out endless rep to only than have to farm more gear to get into a normal raid group for uldir. My profession is even more useless when you consider that world quests basically match the item ilvl of my profession. Nothing makes sense. Even more so you forgot why world pvp was important prior, now you just through in a couple bonuses and people are all over the place with no actual point or objective. You completely dismantled artifacts from legion. Every time a new expansion drops, you destroy what the previous expansion offered and mix everything up. For one, what would be amazing, is if you thought of world pvp and reagent farming the exact way you did in WotLK with wintergrasp, there was a point. Every hour or so control a zone and you get the bonus resources. Why not make AV 24/7 inspired zones from vanilla, with a wintergrasp feel, and legion world quest, where you have to control zones in order to actually succeed or something different then this. Stop slacking, your development all around its embarrassing. You could lose a couple million more subscribers for making piss poor products you know? Dont let activision with its dead call of duty franchise milk you for your last dollar because you both are going bankrupt. Pay some attention to your audience. It is a shame that a portion of your team went to wild star because you couldnt keep your hands in your own greedy pockets. Jesus christ. Btw chests should be chests not a source of resources for the main objective for the game, leave that portion to the actual world quest and pvp mechanics in the game. Take out the mission board, its a waste of time. Id rather see AV quests/dailies that enable you to reinforce troops on the field. God you guys fell off a cliff its so embarrassing I cant even keep this rant straight. Piss poor effort wow, Piss poor 14 yrs later…

I have found that pretty much all professions in bfa have been crummy, except for ones that craft raid mats like potions and enchants. I dropped some of my crafting professions on my max level toons, picked up herb/alch, and used the profits to just buy what I needed from other professions.
