Tailor specialization advice?

My tailor is at the point where it’s time to start on the specialization trees so I’d appreciate what’s worked great for others, and not real concerned about making gold. Textile treasures seem to offer a quick-start for materials.

It depends what you want to make.

My profession accessories specialist and my gear crafters went threads of devotion → chest/hats (for the profession toon, for the alchemy robes/enchanter hats etc).

My unraveller/bolt-weaver went textile treasures (15 points), maxed out ‘less is more’ and ‘extra threads’, maxed out ‘quality fabric’ and ‘weaving and unravelling’, grabbed a multicraft tool and is churning out bolts using multicraft procs and resourcefulness, and unravelling specialist cloth for threads.

i have other alts who use the threads my unraveller spins out of duskweave and dawnweave and use ‘from dawn til dusk’ (max either dusk or dawnweave) + less is more/extra threads to weave as much duskweave/dawnweave as possible.

What do you want to do with Tailoring? Craft your own gear? Make money?

I’d also check out a profession guide for Tailoring like WoW Professions, so you can plan how you are going to get it to 100 skill.

Yup! I always use WoW professions for levelling but specializations are unforgiving if you later regret your choices.
