Top end damage is meaningless in WoW.

Your attacks are all based on your weapons DPS and your white hits aren’t normalized.

It’s literally MC epic stats.

Lmao it’s literally a dragon’s tail with a haft shoved into it

Eranikus, wtf did they do to you?

I think its pretty cool. Even if they ease off the stats, that bad boy needs to be BiS

Wrong special attacks are based off weapon damage that is normalized (normalization only effects how your ap is applied to the attack), which means top end on a weapon is everything

For example your mortal strike is weapon damage plus x

Go put on a faster 2 hander with higher dps but lower weapon dmg, and then compare it to the weapon with higher weapon damage, you’re mortal strike will be bigger then the faster weapon with higher dps.

no and that has not been the case since basically the beginning of WoW.

Your specials are based on weapon DPS, the DPS number in brackets on your weapon. Your white hits are as well but they are not normalized hence the damage range.

The reason your specials hit at a different range is because of glancing, chance to dodge, miss etc.

the reason your white hits hit at a range is because they are not normalized + glancing chance to miss, dodge etc.

none of it has to do with top end weapon damage.

It normalizes your weapon’s damage to match a 3.3 weapon speed. Your autos and some new rune abilities aren’t normalized. Proc chance on Seal of Command is determined by weapon speed. So yes, weapon speed still matters.

Windfury/WS is also based on weapon speed + AP

As is, it would be top DPS and top end, by a lot, so we can all agree it would be BiS. We shall see what the final stats are but this one got my radar up.

Throw in the weapon model and it hits what I was hoping to see from gear in SoD. Some cool looking stuff with nasty stats.

Hunter weapon tho

you are 100% wrong in wow classic dude.

I know that you think you’re right but you are 100% wrong, when an ability reads Weapon damage(+ normalized ap modifier) + modifier it means weapon damage not dps so top end counts towards that.

that’s a melee hunter pvp weapon. warriors are tanks this phase, even in pvp with glad stance, enjoy.

They could make a warrior specific weapon with 500 top end for P3 and they would still be horrible.

In PVP we got no shot but armor values will tell the story in PVE…but hey, if we are going to get one shot might as well look good

lol I can’t hold your hand anymore brother
