This is a mob that spawns in Maldraxxus. He is listed as having a mount on his loot table.
I have personally never seen it drop, for myself or anyone around me. There are no confirmed drops on WoWhead.
Can anyone prove it drops? I DO NOT want “Well, I saw it but…” I want armoury links. Proof. If there isn’t any, I’m concerned this drop may be bugged. The Heavenly Onyx Cloud Serpent was bugged for a while and wasn’t dropping, so there is precedence for this.
I thought that one requires Necrolord 40 renown to get.
It’s not a mob it’s an dead oxen and I haven’t seen the drop yet on this one.
Every attackable NPC is a mob.
Similar: crowd, horde, multitude, rabble, mass, body, throng.

Nope. Was farming it until today when I realized you had to be in the Necro covenant to obtain it anyway.

Irrespective of this non-issue, I’m still hoping to see some proof of it dropping. I want to be wrong, but I’m worried I’m not.

Speaking of that mount… I really like the armored version from the Maldraxxus Covenant. A long with the plate and mail armor. I complimented the plate armor when I first seen it. Anyways I had to do a double take with the Covenant armor, the mount, and Barrier of the Chosen. (shield) When I seen it all paired together today. If I could post an image I would, but it definitely got my attention.

Ya I’ve argued the usage of mob in the past. It is confusing just because mob would usually reference more than one enemy. Like if you were in a dungeon and a tank says “pulling this mob”, you would think it was more than one enemy. I’ve been playing since Vanilla and somewhere along the lines mob went from a group to a singular enemy.
Maybe it’s just me but over the years communications are lost, and now ,I can see why.
