I just wanted to make this post for people searching for Taeshalach and other hidden appearances.
I had it drop for me today (1/3/2023) in an LFR run on my alt blood DK, but I had done two sets of LFR/Normal/Heroic/Mythic runs today on other characters.
I mention this because there is a long-running myth that you have 4 tries on all difficulties PER ACCOUNT, not character and I am making this post to say that if you’ve made countless alts to farm this like I did, then there is indeed hope and you are not wasting your time.
This was something like 700 kills over several months. Good luck!

Grats! Thank you for the psa, that gives me hope i’ll one day have it too 
So demoralizing to read because Ive been farming the red scythe (mythic only) and seen it drop 7 times for others 
no several tries for me.
700 times is just insane.

It’s never been once per account.
It’s always been one chance per character per difficulty.
My warriors dropped on my 2nd run that week (did lfr got nada, did mythic and dropped)

Yes, but people still said this in game and on WoWhead and I’ve never personally seen a confirmation that this isn’t true, so I made this thread so people can see it when they search google.(Hopefully.)
Wait, what? The Prime Minister of Ireland is a raid drop?
