Tactical Reload is a Lackluster, Near Useless Replacement Talent

From a PvE M+ Perspective replacing double tap with tactical reload is just kind of silly.

Sims worse than a single point in Bullseye on single target which is the only place it would even shine as a talent. Provided me with 3 extra aimed shots over a 5 man span - and is worse than the stacking crit.

With the way the rotation works the extra CD reduction is essentially negligible. The bigger issue to me lies in the AoE rotation though.

Double tap was what made hunters a powerful force in dungeons due to the fact that it provided that up front burst with Careful Aim on a pack of mobs. It made up for the drop in damage after the Explosive Shot, Chakram, Volley/Salvo burst. Now MM AoE is still decent, but very lackluster especially with classes like Monks and DHS that can hit a pack of mobs to 70% instantaneously and still maintain their consistency.

Overall it seems to be a very poorly thought out and lackluster replacement talent.
If you are going to remove such a significant ability at least properly re-tune the spec to make up for it instead of just driving it into the ground. Also makes the spec feel a lot more boring. Now it just keeps up instead of excelling when played at a higher level of skill.

If you think double tap was what made or broke MM in m+, then no one can help you.

That quote literally says MM is still decent, but it just lost quite a bit of leverage against other classes. Are you illiterate?

He didn’t say anywhere that DT was what makes or breaks mm in mythic. Did you even read? What’s wrong with you?
