Tabards do they work?

Returning player.
I noticed that I have a ton of tabards (I guess we never got a tabard storage).

Then I noticed that not all my old world factions are maxed.

  1. Do tabards still work?

  2. if they work, when do they work?

  3. if they don’t work, how do I earn faction, today, for old factions?

Old world tabards still work, at least some of them, but it’s idiosyncratic.

You can put on player racial tabards from Vanilla and blast through TBC or Wrath (or Cata? can’t remember) dungeons to speedrun rep.

The best thing to to is to check exactly what works for each one. Hit up wowhead.com and search for the faction in question, and read the section on “How to earn rep” and read the comments - the best stuff on Wowhead is in the comments!

Mostly I was looking at my dwarf and his Ironforge faction.

But I will admit, I didn’t think about wowhead and “how to grind” sections :slight_smile:

Ah, well for Ironforge, just put on your tabard and grind.

Here’s one I wrote about Orgrimmar rep. Ironforge works exactly the same as Org.
