Can you even redeem TCG codes on Classic characters?
Nobody is going to feel sorry for anyone that spends hundreds or thousands of dollars on pixels. They’re not even giving it to Blizzard, they’re giving it to a third party.

The point of this thread is to call Blizzard out for being desperate for subs and make sure they know that this is NOT the right way to go about acquiring more.
Unless it works and increases subs. Then apparently it is the way to “go about it”.
Says who? I’ve owned the Tabard of Flame since… WoD I believe and I have no problem with them using it as a sub reward.
I have the majority of TCG mounts and pets, plus five tabards (Frost, Arcane, two yellows and Fire) and I hope they use all them for sub rewards.

Seems fine to me. Wish they used the blue one lol.
Although I much prefer they add a vendor in game to sell old cosmetics, even the card ones (which btw appears sometimes on the BMAH)
Because the vast majority of players who have these items value them because of how coveted and exclusive they are, and handing them out to the entire player base for subbing is just dumb?

No it makes the people that spent a ton of real money on them dumb. Pixels are not a long term investment and can be taken away at anytime.

I’m not even agreeing or defending Blizzard, I’m laughing at people that spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on pixels. It’s stupid and it is not a bad thing to give players a way to get these items without giving money to a third party on freaking eBay. Who’s side are you on?

Those codes people paid for? Those are for retail. Retail accounts don’t get the tabard for a 6-month sub.
