Remove pets from tab targeting.
There’s no reason for me to tab onto a one of a million warlock imps or DK skeletons in pvp. Fix the stupid system for once blizzard.

Maybe someone will come along here and provide a solution to ignore non-player targets etc.
There is an add-on that does that.
Have you tried clicking on the nameplate?

Get RETabBinder, it automatically binds Tab to [Target nearest Player] for you when you join a PvP match.
It’s not on curse, worth the manual install however.
Hold blizz accountable and not addons.
Blizzard knows its a crappy system.
Am i dreaming? hasnt Tab targeting to nearest player been a keybind option for years?

You can just change it to target enemy players.
