Am I wrong that classic is basically just a revenge tour or a chance at glory? A lot of people, myself included, were either too young or too bad to clear a lot of the content that came out back in 2009. The people that are going to want to clear Ulduar are going to go do that, myself included. We don’t need “forced incentives” from the classic team to go and do that stuff. Honestly the biggest thing I gather from ToC gear is basically an alt catch up mechanic and allows for a bit of versatility for your raid teams as far as people swapping classes to better suit the raid.

No, it’s a good idea. Having the entire Ulduar raid be wasted and forgotten because of T9 is dumb.

Not true. In vanilla we still ran mc and bwl all the way through naxx for specific pieces. People even went back to UBRS for trinkets, and scholo for their rogue sets for aq. In tbc we still ran gruul, za for items and even Kara badge runs for badges.
This is keeping in line with that design philosophy.

Tell us how you really feel.
It’s sentimental for me. DKs are DKs in WotLK. I’m not just some glorified pimple popper smashing a 6-point energy bar with rune decals on them as one is in retail. Lore of my class isn’t retcon-robbed. Starting zone is amazing (I made more DKs than I can remember just to play the starting zone). List can keep going.
Kind of want Shadowmourne too but I’ll be tanking appropriately which means not being a greedy manipulative toe-rag who /reserves everything and settling for something like a heroic Bryn that nobody wants.

This is true. Not sure what guild had all tanks with TF. I mean split raid MC and be done. Some stuff like healing trinket (blanking on the name) was worth still doing BWL for etc…
Nothing is “wasted” and we’ll still be running Uld for ages into ToC for legendaries, specially since they’ve knocked ToC from 2-3 hours a week of raiding down to 1-1.5 hours

Nah I was actually looking forward to being fully done with a tier and not having to go back. At this point though they are just not going to stop with changes. Either roll with it or get tired of it and unsub.
People can of course make forum posts to their hearts content but blizz seems to be 100% behind wotlk+ now.
