T5 is fine.
If you can’t kill end bosses, get gud

Sounds like too much work, my guild just kills her center of the room. why go for the gimmicks?
My guild has seen ONE tier 5 warrior / priest / druid shoulder since phase 2 started. Never seen a life staff, never seen a helmet or chestpiece. Granted we are only our our third kael and second vashj kills. RNG sucks.
Kinda except Vashj for the nature of her fight, and possibly Morogrim who still can RNG you hard sending you both OTs twice in a row to water tomb.
Still, no nerf is needed in the current state of the content.
Where did these crybabies came from at all? I don’t remember seeing them asking for nerfs on any Classic bosses.
“zomG please NURFFF C’thun” said no one.
4 healing moro this week due to a missing hpal was intense. Our prot pally is great tho.
Not only 4 healing but also one less blessing! argh!
feels good to wear loot off of vashj and KT when 80% of the playerbase cant kill them. really brings prestige back to raiding.
Your time will come when vashj and KT have their own and their add’s HP nerfed by 50% and flop over dead by raids with 12 rogues when BT/Hyjal comes out
Solo tank tidewalker…. Just make sure to be ready to bubble the tomb and have cancel aura macro.
Yea. I don’t agree with this. Heroic raids in Retail are on par with Normal 25mans of TBC and WotLK. Normal in retail is basically LFR with your guild.
In my short time back in retail raiding during Legion, I don’t recall any heroic or early mythic raid as hard as Vashj. However, the majority of tbc raid content is on par with normal retail raids, that part is true.
This was the same as Naxx and Sapph/KT. Only problem now is that it’s not the end of the game.
Casuals will never beat Vash and KT this phase. And that means they quit. It is what it is.
Our pally got tombed 3 times in the same fight.
Except they nerf vashj and kt in next phase.
Casuals don’t have time to clear SSC/TK…
Also, casual doesn’t mean bad. There are guilds who raid twice a week and don’t do splits. I guess casual means = bad? get gud.
Average heroic boss has 5-7 mechanics.
Average TBC boss has 2 mechanics…
Even Vashj doesn’t have that many mechanics as you face 1-2 of them for first 2 phases.
Even in phase 3 for Vashj you only deal with poison, static,MC and the blast.
I actually think a normal raid in retail has more mechanics per boss than tbc.
Kael has like 10
Solarian has like 5-7 mechanics and is a cakewalk, so did Chromaggus, the number of mechanics doesnt make something hard. Some of the hardest bosses in vanilla had very few mechanics, like Sapphiron who has like 3.
And entangle and multishot.
I dont understand the urge to downplay things.
My guild cleared T5. I wish they would remove the MC mechanic on Vashj lol.
IMO the only Vashj mechanic that absolutely should be removed is impact dmg from spores because a spore + multishot is instant death for some classes, and no encounter should have RNG that punishing. Remove the 3k impact damage and you can always survive by playing well, whereas no amount of skill will keep cloth alive through 10-11k dmg in under 1s.
Not at the same time…
You aren’t dealing with the Toy debuff while flying through the no-gravity phase.
…wut?
DPS - Stack in the center, nuke adds before boss, run Wrath out of the raid
Healers - Stack in the center, heal Arcane Missiles, heal Tanks
Tanks - Stack in the center, maintain aggro on adds and boss
Soakers - DON’T STACK IN THE CENTER
The boss herself does an AoE, single target spams missiles, summons uninteresting adds, and plops a debuff around. That’s four abilities but that doesn’t translate to mechanics anyone has to actually engage. She’s braindead easy but nothing she does really necessitates wasting brain power on managing, because they manage themselves.
You don’t have to be an elite min-max guild to kill them lmfao. Just need to get better at the game. Feelsbadman.
Since when did raid strats get conflated with mechanics?
AOE
missiles
debuff
small adds
healer adds
transform to melee form
