T5 bossed need serious nerfs

This…many guilds kill Vashj/KT weekly. We one shot them now and our guild has 2 raids who one-night cleared both instances. Find a better guild or wait for the next phase when they will be nerfed.

No Scott… just no.

Primal MC stats and set bonuses are so good that it definitely makes sense to get stamina from consumes (food + guardian elixir), other gear (band of halos or halloween event ring), or even gems before breaking that set. For example blue slot on T4 helm, and if you don’t have T4 helm put a stamina piece there.

The itemization budget for +healing is .45 while the itemization budget for Stamina is .67. So you get slightly more value from +30 Stamina food than you would from +44 Healing food. Gems, you get slightly more value from +healing gems than +stamina gems. However, Priests get more value from Spirit than Stamina, so a Priest should never be using Stamina gems (other healers should use Healing/Stamina gems for socket/metagem purposes).

The guardian Elixir is the equivalent of +15 Stamina, which is ridiculously bad compared to Draenic Wisdom. Likewise, a Flask of Fortification isn’t remotely close to the standard Healing Power/Draenic Wisdom combination in terms of value. You’re far better off adjusting your gear.

Primal Mooncloth is highly overrated. It’s good pre-raid BiS. However, it wastes a significant number of itemization points on mp5 and it’s -15 iLvL from T4. At this point, you should have access to T4 chest, T5 shoulders and Belt of the Long Road. The value of PMC comes from the fact that it sacrifices Stamina for other stats.

However, every phase has a certain ‘minimum health’ barrier you need to cross. That sacrifice of Stamina you were so willing to make in heroic 5-mans suddenly becomes a huge hindrance. For a Priest at this point in the phase, you should be able to easily equip T4 Chest, T5 Shoulders and potentially Belt of the Long Road - which is a much better combination than PMC.

For non-Priests, your Druids/Shaman should have been in Windhawk rather than PMC anyway. However, Windhawk has Stamina and is much harder to replace than PMC. Your Paladins should have nearly full plate +healing gear at this point.

Another way to bolster your Stamina is to use the Nightstaff, Atiesh or Ethereum Life-Staff rather than a MH/OH combo. Paladins can’t use staves, Shaman don’t use staves and Druids are better served by MH/OH, so they’re relatively easy to acquire for Priests (well, except Atiesh obviously).

Mages have fewer options, but you normally give them the Affliction Warlock to bolster their Stamina. Shadow Priests use Shadoweave, but that has a lot of Stamina on it (plus the aforementioned Affliction Warlock).

Actually the reason kael was not killable is due to aggro bug where he would build up aggro all P1-3 on healers, not the fireballs lol. Someone who never fought him back then comment

This guy priests.

This is my issue, belt of long road is pretty low on overall raid priority for vortex, t5 shoulders we have only seen one in over 2 months, and t4 chest breaks my PMC set. crappy all around. PMC is godly for +heal but coh really does not scale much for +heal and honestly flash and gheal are approaching huge levels that overheal like mad anyways. I am mostly concerned with the regen loss, I was hoping to replace all 3 pieces at once when t5 shoulders drop but rng has been unkind. Should add we have never even seen a lifestaff yet. SIGH.

Funny for someone who claims to have played back then you dont know the fireball was hitting for around 100k, it was bugged

Bosses are too hard and I need help killing them.

Please nerf.

You’re right on the stat budget, a rough calculation I had on my priest was that (a) changing healing to stam food and draenic wisdom to major fortitude vs. (b) changing PMC to T4 shoulders and chest results in similar stam. and +healing, however the T4 + healing consumes option has +56 int, +41 spi whereas the PMC option has + 17mp5 + the set bonus. Factoring 30% from meditation, I end up getting a net +15 mp5 or so with the PMC option, while losing the benefits of the extra intellect on mana pool and crits, spi on +healing. But really the deciding factor for me was the price of terocone for 10+ wipes weekly on Vashj.

No one is going back to T5 content next phase. The people that couldn’t beat T5 aren’t sticking around waiting for it to be nerfed so they can perpetually be 1 phase behind.

The problem with elitist mentality is that it’s not realistic. Most people in this world are idiots. Not half, most.

In order to have a successful MMO that retains players you need to cater to those idiots to some degree. Right now the game has completely shut them out. They can’t raid current content, they get rolled by premades in PvP, and they can’t even catchup on sweaty arenas, all the things that made original TBC successful.

I say this as someone who is 9/10 very possible to be 10/10 tonight. I personally don’t have a huge issue with the difficulty but the time commitment for progression is insane. It’s been 6-7 hours per week every week to get to this and that’s pretty casual compared to other guilds.

If people think that’s ok well then you’ve got a game that caters to the top 1% and that’s it. Magically releasing more content people can’t beat without a ton of effort won’t fix that.

We’re doing the same thing we did with Classic Naxx except we’re starting 1 phase early with the player drop outs. At this rate TBC will be dead by the last phase rolls out, with only a few megaservers left.

You go anytime you need to attune.
Or grab any item that is still BiS till Sunwell. Phoenix.

Of course while you are progressing in T6 or still getting fast clears you won’t go back at all.

IS THIS FOR REAL

That’s what literally everything except the current hardest content caters to… are you serious?

8/10 bosses is not “totally shut out.” I don’t think you know what a shut out is.

What you’re getting at is why they ultimately created LFR.

However, in creating LFR, Blizzard also destroyed one of the key reasons people play Classic rather than Retail: community. Without any reason to form long-standing relationships with other players, people just don’t. You end up with a game that’s a tiny number of elite raiders and a vast sea of spectators who simply log onto what is effectively a single player game.

How do you propose they get to T6 while attunements are in place, exactly?

I daresay it will be like actual TBC was; you do it for attunements and never again.

And that’s honestly fine.

Folks, this is what happens when you release a version of Classic WoW that catered to all the carebears. Now you give them raids that require them to use half their brains and they cry about it being too hard or better yet they rage quit. This is the culture we have not only bred in-game but also within our society. You need some David Goggins in your life.

So just because you can’t down two bosses out of ten you want everyone else’s experience to be worse / boring / easier?

Wait for p3.

Wrath isn’t Wrath either, plenty of guilds never got down Ulduar until they got T9 gear, and I know plenty of players in diffrent guilds back then that never got down Sindragosa, sure TOC and NAX where cake walks, and Ulduar could be outgeared, but ICC Normal still had guilds struggling, matter of fact worlds first didn’t happen until the 30% damage buff was out.

Wrath raid’s wernt any easier in truth than TBC, now heroics where a joke.

Congratulations you got what you wanted I guess.

Now make a post about server populations for the rest of us.
